Invitation to Construction Companies

The Formal Education Network for Private Schools (FENPS) hereby invites qualified and reputable construction companies to submit applications/expressions of interest for the construction of 30 Gender Segregated Latrines, 30 Hand Washing Facilities and 15 Fiber Water Tanks in Burhakaba District under the ECW-funded MYRP II project.

Skills and qualifications

1.1 Eligibility Criteria

Bidders must:

  • Be legally registered and licensed to operate in Somalia
  • Demonstrate proven experience in school WASH or humanitarian infrastructure projects
  • Show capacity to deliver works in fragile and crisis-affected settings
  • Show strong understanding of safe, inclusive, and child-friendly construction standards
  • Possess adequate technical staff, equipment, and financial capacity

1.2 Required Submission Documents

Interested bidders shall submit:

  • Company profile and legal registration documents
  • List of similar completed Construction projects (with references) if applicable.
  • Technical and financial capacity statements
  • Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and safeguarding commitments
