OVERALL OBJECTIVE Training & Skills Development Objective To provide market-relevant training and skills development programs that equip local community members at grassroot level with practical competencies for employment, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning, aligned with standards of the Curriculum Development Assessment and Certification Council meeting international standards ACTIVITIES Curriculum Development-Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET)-Aligned Framework Develop competency-based curricula aligned to Curriculum Development Assessment and Certification Council standards Define: • Competency units • Learning outcomes • Performance criteria • Prepare training manuals, learner guides, and facilitator guides etcContext

This assignment focuses on developing Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) curricula aligned with standards of the Curriculum Development Assessment and Certification Council to support skills development and community empowerment. It targets certification programs in Project Management (ten knowledge areas), Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), Strategic Management and Leadership, Communication, and Project Planning, aimed at equipping grassroots communities with practical, market-relevant skills for employment, entrepreneurship, and self-relianceTask Description

The task involves the design and development of Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) curricula to support skills development and community empowerment in line with the institute’s mission. Starting with the following certification program: Monitoring and Evaluation, Project planning and management, strategic Management and Leadership, communication etcCompetencies and values

Skills and qualifications

Required experience

Skills: CBET curriculum design, project management, M&E, strategic leadership, communication, assessment, digital literacy, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement.

Experience: At least 5 years in curriculum development or training programs, with demonstrated experience in CBET and community-based training aligned to Curriculum Development Assessment and Certification Council standards.

Languages: English, Level: Fluent, Desirable
