The National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE), re-established by proclamation No. 1133/2011, is the constitutionally mandated body to conduct elections, organize referendum and regulate political parties in Ethiopia. NEBE is working to boost its’ institutional strength with a special focus on enhancement of human resource capacity. Accordingly, NEBE would like to invite applicants for Human Resources and Administration Expert position who meet the following requirements.

Job Summary
The HR & Administration Expert is responsible for handling specific HR functions, such as recruitment, employee relations, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations and supporting the head office HR team, and contributing to the overall success of the organization’s HR initiatives.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assist in the on boarding process, ensuring new employees are integrated smoothly into the workplace.
- Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a fair and timely manner.
- Provide guidance to employees and regional head on HR policies and procedures.
- Support the performance appraisal process, providing guidance to regional head and employees on goal setting and performance feedback.
- Assist in analyzing performance data and preparing reports for regional head and HR Team at Head Office.
- Maintain accurate HR records and employee databases.
- Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, such as surveys, feedback sessions, and recognition programs.
- Assist in organizing employee events and activities to foster a positive work environment.
- Assisting with the recruitment and training of new employees at regional office level
- Assisting with the performance management and review process
- Organizing staff training on different skills at regional office level.
- Maintain employee records (attendance, staff data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
- Support the regional head on disciplinary and grievance issues
