Position Overview
The Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical and rehabilitation services, supporting all phases of treatment—including pre-operative, post-operative, and rehabilitation— in close coordination with doctors, surgeons, physiotherapists, and project staff. The role ensures patient safety through strict adherence to clinical protocols, infection-prevention standards, and accurate documentation, while also contributing to project effectiveness through proper reporting and participation in project closure activities.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct pre‑operative nursing assessments and assist in patient preparation.
- Provide post‑operative nursing care, including wound care, pain management, and monitoring of vital signs.
- Support patients during recovery and rehabilitation phases in coordination with physiotherapists.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for side effects or complications.
- Maintain infection prevention and control standards at all times.
- Monitor patient progress and promptly report medical concerns to doctors or supervisors.
- Educate patients and caregivers on post‑operative care, medication adherence, and home‑based recovery.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and confidential patient medical records and case files.
- Coordinate with surgeons, hospital staff, and project teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in patient follow‑ups and rehabilitation monitoring visits.
- Contribute to routine project reporting, including patient progress summaries and treatment outcomes.
- Support data collection for monitoring and evaluation activities.
- Assist in documenting case studies, success stories, and lessons learned.
- Participate in project closure activities, including final patient assessments and handover processes.
- Support the preparation and submission of the final project report, providing nursing inputs, patient outcomes, and medical documentation.
- Comply with Human Appeal policies, safeguarding standards, and ethical guidelines.
