INVITATION TO BID FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF ONE NEW HAFFIR DAM AND ASSOCIATED
ANCILLARY WATER SUPPLY AND DISTRIBUTION INFRASTRUCTURE,INCLUDING PUMPING
AND UV TREATMENT SYSTEM, WATER STORAGE TANK, WATER KIOSK WITH TAPS,
LIVESTOCK WATERING TROUGHS, WATCHMAN HOUSE, AND HYBRID SOLAR–GENERATOR POWER SYSTEM, TO ENSURE SAFE, RELIABLE, AND SUSTAINABLE WATER ACCESS FOR BOTH HUMAN AND LIVESTOCK USE IN BOCAAME VILLAGE LAASANOD DISTRCT.
General Conditions for Tender
- Scope: ALIGHT formerly known as American Refugee Committee (ARC International) invites tenders for the supplies/works described and summarized in accordance with procedures, conditions and contract terms, as prescribed in the tender documents. ALIGHT reserve the right to vary the quantity of work/materials/supplies specified in the Tender Documents without any changes in unit price or other terms and conditions and to accept or reject any, all, or part of submitted offers.
- Language: As determined by ALIGHT, the working language of this tender is English. Other languages will not be accepted.
Qualifying and Conditions: The main criteria for admission to the tender are as follows:
- A duly completed and signed priced offer as per the Bills of Quantities (BoQ).
- The bidder shall provide copies of current, valid licenses/registrations for Public Works and Commerce, issued by both the Federal Government of Somalia and State level.
- Tax compliance certificate at the federal and state levels.
- Updated financial bank statement for the last six months.
- The bidder shall submit a detailed list of at least three (3) contracts of similar nature (e.g., construction of Haffir dams and associated water infrastructure) successfully completed within the last five (5) years, each with a minimum contract value of USD 100,000. For each contract, provide.
- CV of key technical staff with signed curriculum vitae to be attached
- Proposal work methodology and construction schedules.
