Supply of TVET Graduate Start up Kits – SIDA III
Tender Description:
Founded in 1956, the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is Denmark’s largest, and a leading international NGO – one of the few with a specific expertise in forced displacement. In 40 countries 9,000 employees protect, advocate and build sustainable futures for refugees and other displacement affected people and communities.
The DRC Somaliland Office is implementing a Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programme under the SIDA III SomReP Project in Marodijeh and Awdal regions of Somaliland. As part of the graduates’ transition to employment and self-employment, DRC intends to procure and distribute start-up kits to successful TVET graduates to enable them to establish or expand income-generating activities.
The start-up kits comprise trade-specific equipment and tools for graduates in the following disciplines:
- Solar Installation and Maintenance
- Plumbing
- Tailoring
- Henna and Beautification/Make-up
DRC hereby invites interested, eligible, and qualified suppliers to submit quotations for the supply and delivery of the TVET graduates’ start-up kits in accordance with the specifications, quantities, and requirements provided in the Request for Quotation (RFQ) package.
Required Supporting documents for technical evaluation:
- DRC Annex C – General Conditions of the contract: Included in the RFQ Packages
- Annex D – Supplier code of conduct: Included in the RFQ Packages
- Annex F – Supplier Profile and Registration Form: Included in the RFQ Packages
- License: Valid Business/Registration License from the Somaliland Government
- Tax Clearance: Valid Tax Clearance Certificate from the Somaliland Government
- Past or on-going Contracts/PO: A minimum of two (2) Copies of Contracts/POs from previous or current services for NGO’s or UN Agencies operate in Somaliland.
