The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is implementing technical cooperation measures on behalf of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany. As part of these measures, the SQPA project intends to procure goods to support the achievement of its project goals. The scope of work is to procure furniture for MOFAIC-EAC in Mogadishu.
The GIZ Office Nairobi invites bidders to submit, free of charge, and without obligation on part of GIZ, a bid based on the indicated terms and conditions. Non-conformity with all conditions mentioned will lead to exclusion of the bid. Bids should be submitted in the requested quantity. Partial or incomplete bids will be considered non-responsive.
Tender eligibility criteria
To qualify for consideration in the tender procedure, interested companies are required to submit the following information and documents for eligibility assessment:
- Company profile including company name, full address, phone number and email.
- A valid tax compliance certificate.
- A valid registration from Federal Government of Somalia Ministry of Commerce & Industry.
- Proof of handling at least two similar assignments of at least USD 50,000 in value. Copies of LPOs/Contracts to be submitted as proof.
- Provide Audit verified company annual turnover with a minimum of USD 80,000 for the past two years (2024 and 2025).
- In the case of the Tender submitted by a Joint Venture specify the name of the Joint Venture as Tenderer and attach the agreement or memorandum of association of the venture.
NOTE:
- Only eligible candidate will receive tender documents for submission of proposals.
- Failure to meet the deadline will lead to automatic disqualification.
- Failure to submit complete eligibility documents will result in automatic disqualification.
- General Purchase Conditions and Procurement procedures of GIZ apply.
