INVITATION TO TENDER
Shaqodoon Organization intends to implement community infrastructure projects in Hanti- Wadag Village, Jowhar District, Hirshabelle State of Somalia, through community-led Under this initiative, Shaqodoon is implementing the project in partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), aiming to strengthen community resilience to flooding and climate-related risks.
This intervention will support the construction of the following key infrastructure:
- Flood Protection Infrastructure – Improvement Badda-Cas Water Pond, located in Hanti- Wadag Village, Jowhar District
The project is designed to improve flood management, protect livelihoods, and enhance the
overall resilience of vulnerable communities in the area.
Shaqodoon Organization hereby invites local tenders to submit their bids for Construction
of the facilities as detailed in in the drawing and bills of quantities and technical specifications.
This tender is open to eligible local contractors who are registered and operational in Hirshabelle state of Somalia and have previously implemented construction works in the area. All interested bidders are hereby informed to submit their Bids and must be sent through email Procurement@shaqodoon.org not later than 12th May 2026, 3:00pm (Mogadishu Time). Electronic submission for this tender is also accepted. It shall remain the responsibility of the bidder to ensure that their bids reach the address above on or before the deadline. Bids that are received by Shaqodoon after the deadline indicated
above, for whatever reason, shall not be considered for evaluation.
